Dr Terry Olesen is a Canadian born Australian Psychologist based in our Fremantle office and brings over 16 years experience providing expertise to adolescents, individuals, families and couples in private practice and government settings.
Dr Terry Olesen works with a range of issues including Relationship Counselling, Mood Disorders, Aging, Pain Management, Critical Incident, Interpersonal Conflict, Family Discord/Conflict, Personal Adjustment, Drug & Alcohol, Workplace Conflict, Gender Identity and Career Choice. Dr Terry Olesen has a particular interest in working with Adolescents, Families and Individuals.
Heidi is a registered psychologist with over 8 years experience in counselling. Heidi has experience with anxiety, trauma, relationship counselling, depression, anger management and alcohol use.

What does the psychologist do?
Counselling therapy sessions will focus on your concerns and empower you to work to resolve them, often providing you with insights, strategies and mechanics of change and increased coping capacity. Heidi uses a number of therapy’s to help you reach your goals including cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, interpersonal therapy and family or couple therapy.
Standard Counselling Session times are 50 minutes.
80 minute consultations can be booked with reception.
Fees and Government and Private rebates?
Medicare and Private Health fund rebates may be applicable to a Psychologist’s services. Medicare rebates require a doctor’s assessment of distress. Medicare may provide a rebate of $84.80 for psychological services.
Meet with your psychologist first to determine if you should see your G.P for a mental health referral plan, not everyone may be eligible.
