Jennifer has significant experience in counselling, clinical psychology, children and adolescents and family counselling.

 

Jennifer enjoys connecting with people to help them work towards their own mental health and well-being goals. She is passionate about supporting people of all ages to overcome obstacles they may be facing, and to assist them to live the life they want to be living.

Jennifer utilises a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, Rogerian person-centred therapy, schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, family therapy, play therapy, psychodynamic approaches, behaviour therapy and a range of other creative-based therapies such as art therapy.

 

Jennifer is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience offering assessment, treatment and therapeutic services across a range of settings including health department mental health services (inpatient and outpatient), victim support services, non-government organisations, private in-patient mental health facilities, specialised eating disorder services, family and domestic violence services and private practice. Jennifer has experience working with clients across the lifespan from young children through to older adults. This includes working with individuals, couples, parent-child dyads, families, groups and organisations.

 

Jennifer is a Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor. She has completed a Bachelor of Psychology, Masters of Clinical Psychology and is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

 

Jennifer is available at the practice Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.
