Angela Potts
Angela is a registered psychologist who is passionate and experienced in her work children (ages 5 and over), adolescents, and adults. She has a particular interest in helping women.
Angela has worked both in the public (NDIS) and the Private sector focusing on a wide range of concerns, working all across the life span. Angela has experience in the treatment of a broad range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and trauma related conditions. She works with young children using Child Play Therapy, Sand Play Therapy, adolescents and adults across the life span and also is passionate about mid to older adults becoming unstuck and finding their purpose. She has a particular interest in woman’s health biology incorporating lifestyle measures that add to health by motivating people, and coaching around lifestyle changes.
Angela will work collaboratively with you to develop an approach that best suits your needs. She values authenticity and compassion, and is above all interested in understanding her clients as fully as possible. Her practice integrates a range of evidence based therapy models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Circle of Security Attachment based intervention and Person Centered Therapy.
