Christina Donatti
Christina is a registered psychologist who has been working in healthcare for the past 15 years. Having worked in Europe for most of this time, Christina’s scope for clinical practice involves working with adults (including coaching and mentoring) of different cultures with a range of mental health challenges – depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD), phobias, schizophrenia, substance use and sleep disturbance. Christina also has a keen interest in supporting families, children (through child centred play therapy) and adolescents. Christina brings cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to her therapeutic approach as well as acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness.
Having completed a Doctor of Clinical Psychology at Sydney University, Christina is able to bring different elements of various therapeutic interventions to the table in supporting individuals and families with different challenges when needed.
To complete her Doctorate, Christina undertook her empirical research focused on anxiety and depression in older adults. For Christina, this means working with older adults, with various mental health concerns, including neuropsychological assessments is one of her greatest interests.
Christina was a lawyer in her former life and brings with it the analytical and methodological mind to assist with Family Court – Single Expert Witness Reports and Neuropsychological Assessments.
