Rachael Tan

Clinical Psychologist | Autism and Educational Assessments

I am a registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My focus is on supporting individuals with anxiety, Autism (ASD), and other developmental or physical disabilities, as well as helping parents navigate the challenges of raising children with diverse needs.

I am passionate about children’s development and assessment, providing Autism assessments for children aged 3 to 10, as well as educational assessments to support learning and growth. My experience includes working with Neurodivergent children, adolescents, and their families to empower them with strategies to thrive in everyday life.

In addition to my clinical work, I have served as a guest contributor for Asianparent.com and MindChamps Singapore, sharing my expertise in child development and parenting. I am also the author of the self-published book “Help! I’m a Parent! – A Parent’s Guide to Managing Challenging Behaviours and Promoting More Positive Ones.” This book reflects my commitment to equipping parents with practical tools and insights to support their children.

I have worked extensively in private practice and with the NDIS, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for my clients. My approach is warm, practical, and solution-focused, whether I’m helping children with Autism, supporting parents, or working with adults managing anxiety and other challenges.

If you are looking for support for yourself or your family, I am here to listen, guide, and provide personalized care tailored to your unique needs.

  • For initial sessions with child clients, the first appointment is exclusively for parents. During this session, Rachael will collaborate with you to determine the best therapy plan, which may involve working with the parent, the child, or both.
