Relationship and Fertility Counselling
We know the impact trying for a baby and undergoing fertility treatment can have on your emotional well-being and your relationship.
Allow our caring relationship counsellors to help you get back on track.
Are you worried that the fertility process has impacted on your relationship with your partner? Have you started to argue more often? Do you feel worried about your pregnancy or how you might work together as parents?
Our goals for counselling?
We aim to help you and your partner strengthen your relationship during the fertility journey, whether it be coping with conflict and stress caused by infertility and its treatment, the loss of miscarriage and fears for your pregnancy or preparing for parenthood.
We tailor our counselling sessions to you and your partner’s needs. We can help you and your partner work together as a team again.
Paid for IVF this year already? Not sure you can afford it?
If you have reached the Medicare Safety Net with IVF treatment, Medicare can help fund over 85% of session fees, leaving you an out of pocket expense of approximately $20 – $30 per 50 minute session with a Mental Health Referral Plan from your General Practitioner. Now is the perfect time to make use of the contributions made by Medicare as they will only last until the end of the calendar year.
To be eligible you need a valid Mental Health Plan and a referral to one of our specialised Psychologists. The referral is valid for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
