Michelle is known for her work with adolescents (15+) and adults. She focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships, providing a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their concerns. Michelle believes in working collaboratively with her clients, empowering them to gain a clearer understanding of their challenges and helping them make positive, lasting changes to their mental health and wellbeing.
She is experienced in helping individuals break free from cycles of anxiety, OCD, and perfectionism, with a particular passion for working one-on-one with clients to navigate relationship difficulties and unpack how interpersonal stress impacts self-esteem, confidence, and identity. With over a decade of experience, Michelle utilizes the research-based Gottman Method to help partners disarm conflicting communication and increase intimacy. Having completed Level 2 training, she focuses on building a “Sound Relationship House” by replacing defensiveness and criticism with healthy dialogue. This structured framework is ideal for couples navigating communication breakdowns, life transitions, or a loss of connection. Michelle works collaboratively with partners to manage “solvable” problems and navigate perpetual issues without escalation. Her approach provides a balanced, non-judgmental space to rebuild trust and shared meaning within the relationship.
